Got to start somewhere...

Ok, I've been putting this off for far too long! From now on I will be occasionally posting updates on my latest creations, ideas and random thoughts (that should probably be kept to myself). I'm not likely to be a very dedicated or regular blogger (since I'd prefer to spend my time creating new things or reading my way through a very large and ever-growing stack of books), but I'm going to give this a go anywho. I'm told it can become quite addictive...


I've been having some fun lately creating these lotus flower inspired cocktail hair accessories - they're not quite hats, more like fascinators really. They sit beautifully on the side of the head and have a really elegant art nouveau look to them (very Tiffany lamp-esque). I've only made these three so far (and they're all available in my Etsy shop), but over the next few weeks I'll be making more in whatever colours take my fancy. If anyone has any suggestions, please feel free to let me know!

Clearly I need to start blogging. Hmmm... maybe tomorrow.
